About time...

Well, I have been a little remiss lately at updating my blog for personal content so I figured it is about time I post something. When all the family was here Savannah asked for a visit to the fire station; off we headed to visit the station and any station visit wouldn't be complete with out some pictures.

Makayla and Savannah trying out the firefighter seat on the structure engine. There was nothing quite like riding in a rear facing seat headed to the reported 'big one'. Unfortunately they just had to settle for sitting in the seats, but maybe when they get older they can feel the adrenaline rush.
Any visit to the fire house also requires that every rig gets a little seat time, they were more impressed with the air ride seats than how many gallons of water the rig hauled.
One must function check the sirens and the horns on all the apparatus as well. Lil M got the siren going, but was unable to shut it off in the brush rig as easily as the other apparatus. Unfortunately I missed taking pictures of them trying on gear and raiding the station fridge for water, but that was all part of the visit as well.
The new little nephew really fits into the family, not only does he resemble his Uncle, he also enjoys eating (another favorite past time of his uncle). While it appears that he is about to devour a taco dinner he actually had to share all that food, but he was still excited to see the plate appear. I should have taken a video of his excitement, but the restaurant was pretty crowded so the noise would have been less than cool.
Somebody has decided that Grumpa is a-okay; Just chillin' with his ballon and Grumpa while waiting for the next big event of the weekend.
Of course, there are always the funny books that need to have the pages turned at the Grandparents house, plus there is plenty of time to get away from the hectic events and enjoy a little reading time in the corner. Well, that is if you can get the corner as that corner is quite popular and difficult to steal some seat time.
Not only does family events present time for all the kids to bond and harass each other, the pets get plenty of 'love' from all the people as well.
